Pretty much all anyone can talk about these days is covid-19, the corona virus. And one of the major things they talk about is that we, America, did too little too late…and as rumors go around that things will start to open up again, I feel it’s too much too soon.
I’m not an expert by any means… I’m just careful about what sources I trust. And those sources are saying that Massachusetts is at the peak. Which means that there should be a tapering off after this. But opening everything just because a tapering is expected is not a good idea. As far as I can tell, when dealing with something like corona, it’s better to me more cautious than not.
I’m not working nearly as hard as nurses and doctors, but I am running into a lot off people because I work retail, and a retail that’s open as ” necessary”. And I’ve seen many people buying things that aren’t necessary. And many people still without face masks. Or people wearing face masks wrong (hello, it’s pointless if it doesn’t cover your nose), and also people not changing gloves often or before and after touching certain germ filled surfaces like money.
As a result, I’m a little bit terrified. If my health depends on the common sense of others… And not just my health, but my parents and siblings
